Exciting News!
The
BEC has partnered with the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service in Istanbul
Turkey, the U. S. Department of Commerce/International Trade Administration,
Embassy Wines International, Federal Express and a number of local wineries
to host the first ever Virtual Wine Tasting event. With the assistance of
Federal Express, the participating wineries have shipped their product to
the Turkish Embassy. Importers of wine will be tasting the wines at the
Turkish Embassy while the local wine makers discuss their wines and
appellation to prospective buyers via video conference. The goal of the
event is to assist local wineries export their premium wines at premium
prices. The Virtual Wine Tasting event is scheduled for May 6th at Le Vigne
Winery in Paso Robles.

The Business & Entrepreneurship Center at Cuesta College offers workshops
that teach business leaders a way to learn and implement new strategies,
skills and ideas across varied business disciplines. Taught by experienced
counselors and industry experts, workshops are tailored to fit in many
stages of the business development process.
We offer one-on-one, no-cost, professional
business counseling and referral services in many areas such as business
planning, loans and capital acquisition, marketing, taxes and bookkeeping, and
other areas of business operations.
