ACADEMIC POLICY Academic Probation : Student achieved less than a 2.00 semester grade point average. Academic Dismissal : Student is subject to academic dismissal from the college following the second consecutive semester of academic probation. Progress Probation : Student attempted 12 units or more and earned grades of W, I and NC in over half of their cumulative unit total. Progress Dismissal : Student is subject to progress dismissal from the college following the third consecutive semester of progress probation.

How do I sign up for a Dismissal Workshop? You will receive a letter from our office explaining your status. The sign up form for the Dismissal Workshop will be included with that letter. You may also print the Dismissal Workshop Form and mail it to the Counseling Office. What do I do if I sit out a semester and want to return? You will be eligible to reapply to Cuesta College after not enrolling "sitting out" one semester (summer session does not count). Please contact our Admissions Office for an application.
