Personal:
Every five years, for the last 30, I have collaborated with various members of my very extended family and we have put on great Schwab family reunions. August 2006 was our last reunion. Over 500 "Schwabs" from all over the country and the world show up in the little town of Mt. Angel, Oregon. We have a great time of family, of entertainment, and of food. The Schwabs are very much into food. I also edit a very intermittent family newsletter. The newsletter mailing list is over 600 addresses long. My father, with some modest help from me, wrote a 300 page genealogy and family history titled, The Schwab Family: From Astheim, Germany to Mount Angel, Oregon and Beyond 1804-1996. I have established a Schwab Family Web Page at SchwabReunion.org.
