Tutoring Information for Instructors

The Instructor-Tutor Relationship

Tutors benefit from instructor support and we encourage you to be accessible to them, provide them with a copy of your current syllabus, and update them on any changes in course content. Tutors can also provide you with helpful information about the types of difficulties students are experiencing.

Classroom Presentation

Tutors are the program's best ambassadors! Therefore, if you would like to have a tutor give a brief 5-minute presentation during the first or second week of class, please contact Mary Hastings at 546-3150 or tutorial@cuesta.edu

Tutor Recommendation

Each semester we hire outstanding students to become Academic Tutors.
