The Tutorial Center at the

San Luis Obispo Campus

Our Mission:

The mission of Tutorial Services is to help Cuesta students achieve college success by reinforcing and supplementing classroom instruction, improving learning efficiency and effectiveness, and ultimately supporting students in becoming independent learners.

Our Services:

The Tutorial Center provides free individual, and small group tutoring in many academic subjects. Tutors are faculty recommended, have received a B or better in the courses they tutor, and complete a tutor training class (ACSK 168) during their first semester as a tutor. Tutors are trained to help students develop long-term learning strategies that facilitate independent learning.

Tutoring appointments are scheduled by contacting the Tutorial Center in the Academic Support Center, Room 3300.

Students who wish to be tutored, or who are interested in becoming a tutor, should contact the Tutorial Center.

Tutoring appointments are available on the SAN LUIS OBISPO campus:
Monday through Thursday	8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Friday	CLOSED
