Dr. Jenson, Ph.D. has worked for many years with behaviorally disordered children. Dr. Jenson is currently Professor and Chair of the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Utah . For the past 15 years, he has been an active staff development presenter and consultant for many school districts, mental health centers, and parent organizations. He is probably best known for coauthoring The Tough Kid Book and The Tough Kid Tool Box .

 

Dr. Diller, M.D . is a behavioral/developmental pediatrician in Walnut Creek , CA and on the clinical faculty of the University of California , San Francisco . Dr. Diller is the author of many professional articles and the books, Running on Ritalin and The Last Normal Child. Dr. Diller has appeared on nearly every major talk show several times and is called regularly to speak on TV and radio whenever children's psychiatric medication is in the news.

Scholarships applications are available for parents and students needing financial assistance to attend the 21st Annual Central Coast Learning Disabilities Conference. Please download the MS Word Scholarship Application or the Adobe PDF Scholarship Application. The MS Word application may be filled in and returned by e-mail. The Adobe PDF application may be filled out on a computer, but must be printed and sent in by mail.

Registration

Registration provided through Cuesta College Community Programs beginning July 6, 2009. The LD Conference course number is LDC101.309.

$45.00 Continental Breakfast and Lunch included. Registration day of the conference is $50.00.

Scholarships are available.

Phone: Call 546-3132, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. after July 6, 2009. Please have the course number, LDC101.309, and your credit card information ready when you call.
Mail: Print the registration form and send completed form (or use the one in the community programs brochure) with a check or money order to Cuesta Community Programs, P.O. Box 8106, SLO, CA 93403-8106.
FAX: Print the registration form and FAX your completed form with Visa, Master Card or Discover card information to 546-3107, 24 hours every day.
