TEACHING EXCELLENCE AWARD
NOMINATION FORM
The focus of this award is on teaching excellence. Its purpose
is to recognize faculty who show leadership in course organization
and presentation while keeping current with educational methodology.
Criteria
Nominee must be a current, regular (tenured) or temporary full-time
or part-time instructor who has taught at Cuesta College for a minimum
of five (5) years and has fulfilled at least three (3) full-time
equivalent years.
Nominee has achieved a ranking of at least the 75th percentile
on all student evaluations for the most recent two consecutive evaluation
periods. (If none of the nominees are in the 75th percentile, a
majority vote of the committee will determine whether or not to
proceed.)
Nominee has exhibited leadership in course organization and presentation.
Nominee has evidenced good use of current educational methodology.
Nominee has participated in professional growth activities that
directly relate to teaching.
Nomination Must Be Received No Later Than April 25th
