Steve Leone, President

The President shall:

1. Serve for a term of two years.
2. Speak as the official representative of the Academic Senate and the faculty.
3. Execute the decisions of the Academic Senate and the faculty.
4. Attend or designate a representative to attend the meetings of the Board of Trustees and the Cuesta College Federation of Teachers Executive Board.
5. Chair meetings of the Academic Senate and the Faculty.
6. Appoint regular and special committees to conduct the business of the Academic Senate and the Faculty.
7. Perform such other duties as pertain to the office of the President.
8. Be provided with reassigned time in accordance with district policy.

Beth-Ann Dumas
Vice President

The Vice-President/President-Elect shall:

1. Serve for a term of two years.
2. Move to the office of President at the end of the two-year term.
3. Assume the office and duties of President in the event of absence, resignation or vacating of office by the President.
4. Chair the Cuesta College Curriculum Committee.
5. Perform such other duties as appropriate to the office.
6. Be provided with reassigned time in accordance with district policy.

Curriculum Committee

1. Each division shall send one faculty member to serve on this committee.
2. Members shall serve for one-year terms.
3. The committee shall review, advise, and make recommendations concerning curriculum to the Academic Senate for approval.
4. The Academic Senate Vice-President will chair the Curriculum Committee.
5. The faculty appointed by the Academic Senate shall be the voting members of the Curriculum Committee.
